While flipping through a recent issue of Sport Compact Car, I saw an ad 
for "TIRE FX"....where you can iron on your tire some sort of foil/paper 
substance ontop of your raised lettering of your tire manufacturer.

When finished, you will have DUNLOP, or YOKOHAMA, or TOYO in any bright 
color you want.  Looks cool and if I remember correctly, Renault did 
this same thing back in the eighties in neon blue on a concept car.

In fact, I think Zender did this on one of their concept cars.

Anyway, makes me shudder to think of taking a hot iron to the rubber!
