I am guilty! And now I must pay the price...or must I?

This morning, I was driving to work with the top up, and I realized
that the sun had come out during my drive. Naturally, I felt the need
to have the top down.
I pulled over....unsnapped the hinges.....and through the top back. I
did not unzip the back window. Why Why Why! I don't know what I was
thinking, I have no excuses for such blasfamous behavior.

I now sport what appears to be four scratches in a diamond pattern on
my back window. I hope they are scratches, although they might be
stress in the plastic. 

Oh Miata Elders, I realize my mistake and vow to never do this
again...can your wisdom allow me to remove the evidence of my
insidious crime?
