Hi everyone,
I'm sure everyone knows that there is a switch on the 99 miata that will deactivate and then reactivate the passenger airbag. Unfortunately, I can't afford a 99 and am pursuing a 97 left over. my question is this:
Can the passenger side airbag be de-activated(wires snipped) easily? can they be attached easily. whats involved. It is the gating issue oin whether I buy a miata or not.
I have a 3 year old that i take to day care that requires a car seat and my undersatnding is that it is dangerous to a child in a car seat when the air bag goes of(god forbid).
Does this airbag issue pertain to seats that are facing frontward or is it more pertinant to those carseats that face backwards?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
