The first brace I made was the rear lateral brace.
It uses the same square tubing as the other braces.
I welded a 1" x 4" x 1/4" tab to the bottom of the pressed steel A-arm mounts.
The bottom was not flat so I did some grinding first.
My brother did the welding using a wire feed welder.
Work slowly on the welding and cool the area to keep the A-arm bushings
from melting.
It works in addition to a Cannon brace.
I couldn't tell the difference, so I sold my Cannon brace.
>From a structural standpoint the Cannon is the best.
I didn't bother to sell this brace as most people don't like welders around
their cars.
I can make one if you want.
