I thought I was the only person in the world this must have happened
too. When I was a teen I was "owled".  


Missed my face but broke the little piece of plexiglass that my old
Saab 96 had in the corner of driver's window frame. 


Peaceful summer night, quite country road.  Then God what a noise!!

Screeeeeeeeeeeech-Whatthehelllwasat?!!


Feathers and owl guano everywhere. One very angry, stunned but very
live owl on the back seat. 


Had I been driving a fraction slower and arrived at that exact point in
space a tick later I would have stopped that owl with my ear.
(shudder)


I have a mental picture of a mouse (the owl's "would be" dinner) bent
over with hysterical laughter at the sight of all this!
