Does anyone know where I can get a trunk rack that looks like the
attached drawing (bmp file)?  This is a style I use to have on a Fiat,
but I think it came from an MG dealer.  It was chrome, sat on four legs
with holes through the round feet.  It sat about 4" above the trunk,
and around 18" x 18" or 24W X 18 deep if I remember right.  On the end
nearest the tail of the car was a vertical (like 4") extension to keep
stuff from sliding off.  Some versions had "wings" extending out from
the supported section almost the full width of the trunk lid.  I think
the advantage of this kind is that nothing touches the paint.  (You can
also reverse it and use as a mount for ski racks so they extent over the
roof.
