Takes all kind in the world I guess.  I find the cupholder
to be very useful and only a slight bother to shifting.

Why do I like it?  I can buy a large drink at "Burger King"
 - put it in the cupholder - and it STAYS there even if one corners hard.
(Slooshes a bit if full.)  My other cars would have the cup upside down on
the floor.  It's easy to locate to extract and replace the drink.  I know
I'm in a minority (of 1?) but to each their own.  :-)

Yeah,...I have to crook my wrist a bit to shift, but it's
not THAT difficult (given the great tranny!)
