IIRC, there is a picture somewhere on miata.net of your #2 option. A red
miata with two black headlight lids, and I think one or maybe both had the
NACA induction inlet. A quick search found nothing, but that doesn't mean
you couldn't find it if you tried hard enough :) I believe the name of the
car was "miatank", but then again I could be wrong. Maybe someone else
remembers for sure?
