Yes, once again, it is that time when Mr. Joe Miata goes to his (or her) 
mailbox only to find the new Miata Magazine!  After a few pages being 
flipped and read (actually the whole magazine), I thought I would give 
it a small review.

Since my last coments on issue 98-II were pretty bad, I was hoping to 
find an improvement...and it was.  IMO, I really like this issue.

The cover: Great photo, but let's drop the cheesy logo ("miata 
MAGAZINE")...can the editors not bring back the standard "Miata" logo?

The ads: There are many, but some nicely done.  Here's a brief rundown: 
MMM once again wraps this issue like a huge ham sandwich, Imparts have 
finally updated their ad, Serious Automotive Accessories has a nice ad, 
The Dealer Alternative is awsome (even with K. Tanner's car in 
there!!!-How'd that happen?). Others to mention, BSP, Rspeed, Racing 
Beat, Dunlop, Toyo, etc...But the big guns got to Moss and their 
over-drawn Mazdaspeed and Sebring ads.  I sometimes think that 
Mazdaspeed is too expensive.

The articles: Kudos awards goes to the "Tibits", "Always Inspired", "An 
American In Paris", "The Club Scene", "Blackout", and "The Resurrection 
Begins" articles.  

The "I fell asleep" award goes to the "Yes, Mr. President", "Founding 
Father", "Beach On Wheels", "National Caliber", and "History is Myth" 
articles (just my opinoin folks).

The photos: Much nicer this time around and more creative.  Especially 
Jason Lammers car on page 21...a nice looking '91 BRG!  Also photos on 
page 46 and 47 are nice.  Lot's of eye candy in this issue.  Also, take 
careful look at page 86 and look at that nice shift knob!  I need this 
knob..even has 1-6 shift pattern printed on it.  Anyone know anything on 
this knob??

Out of five stars, I give the issue "*** 1/2".

BTW, does anyone have any additional comments on the "Family Feud" 
article on pages 54-56??
