Well, I do know that when Nash and Studebaker went out of
business, there were cars still sitting in showrooms. Some sat for at
least a couple years. When they were finally purchased, they were
titled for the year they were purchased, not the year they were built.
This accounts for folks thinking they have cars that were built after
the last year for the run. Useless info, but kinda neat. :^)
