Just received a free copy of the latest Miata Mag.  I did not read the
accompanying literature,  so I do not know how it reached my door.  I'm
just lazy but eventually I will join MCA.  Anyway they had a good write
up of a '99 leather package vs. a '95 SCCA class B prepped R package.  A
few SCCA champs drove each car though the course.  The totally stock
(sans tires) '99 was within a second of the lap times generated by the B
class '95.  Some suggested that would change with a simple racing
alignment or change in sway bar.


I knew Phantom had race car heritage in his blood, umm oil!
