I put airhorns (the Hella's) on about six weeks ago, and these sound
similar to yours -- they are loud but much higher-pitched than I had
anticipated.

The good news, though, is that I've had to use them three times already
and each time they stopped the other driver's indiscretions in a
nanosecond.  So, I'm pleased!  The stock horn -- geez -- it's like
you're raising your hand in class before speaking :-)
