Alignment and suspension check out OK at the shop - he recommended
dropping my tire pressures some - I did (another story) - better, but
I think something is still there.
When "pushing on the bumper" - should the front and rear of the car
offer similar resistance?
The front moves up and down about one-fourth that of the rear, for
similar pressure applied over the wheel. On the front, trying to
bounce the car results in only that side moving up and down. The
opposite front side stays pretty still. At the rear, both sides move
up and down about equally, again with pressure applied just on one
side, above the wheel. Again, the rear moves about 4 times as much
as the front. It is easier to get the rear into a rhythm, pushing it
down, letting it come back, pushing down again, this time a little
further. The front is not like that.
I didn't do this when the shocks were brand new (4 - 5 months old
now) so I don't know what a baseline is....
FM springs, FM sways (inside front, middle rear) and HP shocks.
