List,

Thanks for all your suggestions. As usual you ALL have been very
helpful and the people I counted on to come through with advice (my
learned friends) did, you all know who you are ;^).

I have decided to go with the Toyo Proxes T-1s as the people that I have
come to know, love and respect as experienced drivers seemed to prefer
these. OK, one more stupid question I need help on...and be easy on me
you know I can't go out and check my car, she's still MIA (at the
bodyshop who has come to believe that is her new home)....

Question: Did the '97 M Edition come with 15 X 7 or 15 x 6 wheels?
These are the chrome "pimp mobile" that I happen to like wheels.

Also, FWIW, I tried to get to Miata.net and couldn't. I tried my direct
link, going from the link in my local club page and doing a find and all
tries failed with server connection problems. Anyone else having
problems or is it just me? I'm trying to find the best price and get my
order in. I have the direct link to mroaster (thanks Dan), anyone have
the URLs to the other Miata.net vendors so I can check on prices? Don't
want to sound cheap, but I really need to try to find the best price.
Finances are a wee bit low these days, but CATTOY is insisting on the
best that Mama can afford (or squeeze out of the wallet right now),
isn't that just like a woman? Me thinks she gets it from me....

TIA for your continued assistance,
Cat (the lonely redhead who's still whining cause her best pal is in the
shop) and
CATTOY (who thinks Mom is gonna have to buy her a whole lot more than
new shoes to make up for this one)

Cathy
