Aaron,
Thanks for the heads up on this dealership. I'm glad that I don't use them. I have ahd pretty good success with both Rosen Motors in Waukeegan a,d North Shore Mazda/GMC. The Miata Tech there is young and full of enthusiasm. Very competent.
The mileage seems excessive. The only explanation I can come up with is that obviously they had to make sure that the extra torque your engine was putting out wasn't the cause of your broken lug. I've heard dumber, explainations under a recent thread titled "Morons"
Demand free service or something of value. Once a dealership treated my wife with disrespect - cat calls, etc. I found out about it and demanded a free 30K service ($500) They did it and offered my wife a written appology to boot.
