Hello, I just joined this mailing list yesterday and thought I would
introduce myself. I am a thirty-something wife going through my second
childhood, I guess, wanting a very "un-needed" addition to our family.
With two kids, a Miata is definitely not a logical choice, but, I tease
them, I want a two seater to get AWAY from them!

I've been looking at sportscars and the newest miata really caught my eye.
I love the body styling. Only wanting it in Yellow, I see I would have to
go with a '92. My husband would rather see me get a 1999 model (including
the warranty! so he doesn't have to work on it) but I have always dreamed
of a little yellow convertible..... Is it smart to follow my heart and go
with an older car when he is offering me a new one?! I don't know...

My husband and I run an automotive/towing business from our home. He only
works on domestic cars, but is very supportive of my choice of a MAZDA (for
god's sake! he always adds <G>) I guess that old dog will just have to
learn some new tricks!

I also run my own machine quilting business, in my "free" time (ha!), in
between tow-jobs/bookwork/kids/housework/a bunch of pets!

So I'll just be hanging around in the background here, reading all your
posts, and trying to contain my excitement. It looks as though it might be
spring before we actually make a purchase, so it's going to be a long
winter.....
