Hey, gang,

Just got a new aluminum hood on Red '99 [hail damage to the old one]
and was wondering what one might do to get the swirls out which are
reflected from many angles.  I assume when they buffed out the classic
red paint they used something that coats it like wax.  I tried
Meguiars basic paint cleaner [#1 of the 3 step process] but couldn't
get it to cut through the wax. 

Any ideas?
