My V1 also had the forward light go out...all else worked though.
10 days later it was back in the miata sniffing out coppers :-)

I agree that an expensive item should've have silly bulb problems...someone
in QC wasn't paying attention.
Even with minor probs the V1 is still KING.  Even if I had to send the unit
in every year to replace a bulb or something I'd still stand by it 100%.  I
can live with driving slower 10 days out of the year if I can drive the rest
of the year with good piece of mind :-)
