No. A good alignment (see www.miata.net, or recent alignment threads in 
the list archive) can help if your Miata is really darty. But consider 
that the Miata is sprung more stiffly than most other cars, to improve 
its manageability at the cornering limit, and you will learn to ignore 
some of the normal ride harshness. You'll also learn to drive *around* 
those craters in the street! Better shocks can help, too--if yours have 
more than 30-40k miles on them, they are no doubt worn out, even if not 
leaking. For a plusher ride, it's hard to beat Konis set full soft, but 
they're pricey, as is installation if you don't do it yourself. Again,
