Only with respect to certain very large, older Chrysler cars. :-)
It's generally called the "English" system, despite the fact that the
English are now quite metric. "Wacky" will do nicely, I suppose. You
think it's easy for *us* to understand? (Not quite as quaint as "stone"
and "leagues," though--the English were obviously more ready for a change
than we Yanks.)
