Yesterday was a BIG day for Baby Shamu. We now sport the factory fog lights
and the front airdam. She looks really great. The fog lights have their own
switch and go on when the lights are turned on. And, Jeff, I know this will
make you happy, the fog lights go off as you turn on the high beams. The
installation is quite straight forward. The instructions are good and the
harness is complete. I'm very pleased with them. This installation was done at
a Mazda dealership. I was able to help the technician since there are places
where two pair of hands are a plus. The hardest part is the cutouts for the
fog lights in the bumper. The fog lights are made in Germany by Hella. You
have to be patient and do as the instructions dictate. The airdam installation
is really very easy. The ground clearance is good. While we had the bumper off
I reinstalled the CRI airhorns from my old '97 to M2. I feel now so much
safer knowing that I'll be able to be heard if the need arises. I would not
think of driving without a good set of horns. If any of you are on the fence
now, please just do yourselves a favor and spend the money it takes. Also I
Installed the Team Miata radiator grill. That install was also a snap. So this
was our BIG day. Baby Shamu looks like she means business. Great look.
Kal Ramo & Baby Shamu, who likes her new frontal appearance.
