I am asking you knowledgeable folks for some computer advice.  My wife wants
a computer all to her own.  I have a work lap-top,  but its always with me
for class or work.  So we were going to get a cheap bottom line computer for
her to use AOL and MS-word.  So I found the perfect model for me,  uh her.

Gateway G6 400 with Home Essentials
400 MHZ
64 MB RAM10 GB drive
DVD II ROM/ 3.5" floppy
Boston Acoustics BA635 speakers


I figure she needs the storage space,  and the 400 MHz will be useful for
Need 4 Speed2,  I mean MS-Word.

I looked around,  and know this is not the cheapest system,   but others
said they are happy with Gateway service.  Any suggestions?
