'cause all the short sighted, traditional people drink from the little bottles and the forward thinking, worldly individuals drink from big bottles?

Ahem. Canada is metric. Weight, distance, speed, temperature - and
volume. When you buy fuel in Canada, you'll be buying it by the litre.
The only possible exception is right beside the border, where gallons are
sometimes provided to help out the poor 'Murricans, the same way that US
stations will sometimes give a price per litre. I've never seen a station
near here sell fuel by the gallon with the exception of one that did it out
of some sort of bizarre protest. They're out of business now.

Of course, there are people who live in the past and think in Fahrenheit,
miles, gallons and feet, but natural selection will soon weed them out :)

Oh - here's an interesting question. Soft drinks in the US come in 20 oz.,
1 litre and 2 litre sizes. Why?
