| Subject: | Steering column wiggles |

I was involved in an accident yesterday. The Miata fared quite well. I'm guessing traveling speed was 15-20 MPH. I rear ended an Escort - colapsed his entire trunk. I scraped the paint and bent some supports, and one long shallow dent on my hood. I brused the palm of my hand somehow - I guess trying to absorb the impact. My air bag did not go off. Looking at the car you would think my hood was not latched all the way - thats it. Today when I was driving it to work I noticed the steering column moves 1/2" side to side. Did I colapse somthing in the steering column? If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I'd like to be able to drive the car until fall - and then complete the repairs during the winter.
I'd also like to know if there is something that needs to replaced under the front bumper? - for then next impact?
Thanks,
Greg
