You are certainly welcome to your opinion, but speaking from the perspective of
someone who sold car covers (from Covercraft, by the way) for a living until
recently, I cannot agree with it. In every aspect except cost and
compactibility, Sunbrella is clearly the "best" fabric. In terms of
compactibility and overall weather protection, Ultralon is arguably the best. In
terms of low cost and compactibility, if you don't need water protection,
polycotton is probably best.
Other than, perhaps, warranty term (and you'll NEED it if you use your Technalon
cover regularly), Kimberly-Clark fabrics are not, IMHO, "best" at anything.
