I will offer my limited knowledge...

I bought a '95 M (power steering, ABS, leather, BBS wheels, A/C,
AM/FM/CD/tape) with little of 10K miles in March for $15,700. I would
venture to say that your deal is a pretty good, although with 48K miles,
you'll definitely want to take it to a trusted mechanic to check it out
before you sign the check.
