A great big thanks to all who responded to the silver or green issue.

OK guys and gals... at my age this is no decision to be making by myself
(hehehe)...

Even though the overwhelming "vote" was for silver, I think I am leaning
over the perverbial fence toward the green... I will have a chance tomorrow
to see them both again and this time actually will have time to drive the
'99. Although I do plan to look at a Black/black '95 (38K) in the morning
(different dealership) that does have cruise and a very inticing price of
$11,995(no tax or title). As compared to the (silver or green)'99's with
the Touring pkg. @ $20,000 (and that is an "out the door" price!!!!). Both
seem to be great deals. Then, there is the Emerald/black with PEP out the
door at $22,500 and I would have my cruise but twice the price of the
'95...is it really worth it??? SHEESH... I am getting blisters from
sitting on this stupid fence. I feel like a kid in a candy store, just too
many good deals to choose from..... HELP !!!!!!!!

Got a big grin from this post in particular......
========================
I would definately go with silver. I think the green is too yuppie-ish.

Nick.... I think it is important that you know <VBG>... I went to college
in the late 60's and my secret desire was to be a yuppie... After raising
3 great kids... all out of the house... and always driving a "family car"
(from station wagons with wood grain sides to the "ever popular" mini-van;
with the exception of a Grand Am; presently "cruising" <hehehe> in a
Lincoln Continental)... AND finding myself single again for the first time
in a great number of years (a number so great I prefer not to mention
it!!!).... I think my time for yuppie-dom has arrived!!! <VBG>

OK, everybody, I hope I haven't pestered you all too much with this
decision (and I hope you have at least gotten a couple of chuckles). I
realize that I must find the Miata that is "right" for me, but you have
already proven yourselves to be a great group of ppl with lots of valuable
knowledge and opinions. So, my computer ears are listening for any more
advice you may want to send my way.

Linda, confused in Ohio, but dreaming of Miata's
???...new or used...???
