BTDT minus the glow plug. 56 Ford Ranch Wagon with a 312 Thunderbird
V8. Downhill in mainstreet Osoyoos (small town). Wound it up in 2nd
gear and backed off to hear the pipes rap... not good enough to suit my
fancy... turned the ignition off... coasted about fifty feet at speed in
gear... turned it back on. KABOOM!!! Left the tailpipe, muffler, and
most of the exhaust pipe lying in the street.
Early lesson... I guess. My Dad was some pissed.
