A whole bunch of pictures of the new Honda SSM -www.vtec.net/news/. 240 hp from 2.0 liter. Red line around 8400rpm. 2800 lbs. 50/50 weight distribution Double wishbone suspension front/rear. Rear wheel drive. Electric top. Super stiff body structure. Roll hoops standard. 11.6 to 1 lbs/hp ratio (Miata is 16.7lb to 1hp) 0-60 in 5.6 seconds. Price approx $30k. (Nicely optioned miata $25k). Honda certainly got my attention. Do we have a real competitor on our hands or what?
