Had my car aligned today and thought the list would be interested in my
before and after numbers. Shop used was Virginia Spring and Alignment in
Arlington, VA (about 50 yards from Jeff Anderson's home).

First number is before, second number is before with me in driver's seat,
third number is new alignment with me in driver's seat. I asked for before
and after printouts, miq's specifications and me sitting in car. No problem
with any of this. The shop is not cheap, but they know their stuff. They
have eight bays, IIRC, and two were occupied by dump trucks, one by a
Fairfax County Ambulance, and one by my itty bitty Miata. My technitian,
Larry Beason, is a grandfather of 8 who raced cars in his younger days. He
knew exactly what I was after, and tourqeted the eccentric nuts to 150 ft lb
per Randy Stocker's tip.

I recommend this shop for Washington, DC area Mazda owners. During the week
is the best time to get an appointment. Larry does all the cars. He spent
about 2 hours on my car and the charge was $89.95 plus 6.30 shop materials
for $96.25 total. Includes a 6 month guarantee. Standard front end
alignment is $60 bucks.
