As one who mentioned breaking in the tires, I will say that half of my
comment derives from list talk. The mold release was the main issue,
suggesting that the tires may be a bit slippery until it is worn off. The
rest was my experience with the tires. It just seemed that they got
better with age for the first week or so. Purely subjective.
