| Subject: | Best sparkplus for 1.8 engine |

I am doing a 12,000 mile service on my 1996. Should I use NGK BKR as
recommended or is there a better sparkplug
for this engine? I'm not interested in Splitfires. Do platinum plugs work
well with this engine? I have used them in other
cars with success but I don't recall hearing much about them for the Miata.
The car is used for light general day to day
travel plus some autocross and track events. Except for bumped timing and
K&N filter, the engine is stock but I plan on adding JR intake/exhaust
goodies in the future.
Thanks in advance
