If we want to define it as a language, then the Miata-ness is just
a dialect. I know several people who can tell the difference between a
64 1/2, 65, or 66 Mustang at a glance while doing 65mph. The same with Z
cars, or various recent Hondas (although the latter is more challenging,
due to lots of appearance upgrades)
