I have to go with Dan on this one ... especially where winter is concerned.
<g>  If winter doesn't _start_ until Dec 21 in the northern hemisphere, then
your summer  in the southern hemisphere can't _start_ until Dec 21 ... seems
fair? eh?   Of course Australia doesn't count because they do whatever the
heck they want down there anyway, don't they?  ;-))
