Actually to tell you the truth, I didn't know it was missing.  When I bought
the car, the previous/original owner put a set of Rod Millen headers on it
WAAAY back in 1991.  I notice on warpage/melting of any parts underhood so
all must be ok.  Sorry I can't provide any more concrete answers. :-(
