Actually, Will, perhaps I misspoke (miswrote) earlier, but I was trying
to describe the Polar Power kit when I described a cold air duct that
exits near the air filter/intake. (I think I accidentally sent my
message out in the midst of editing it, then re-sent it in proper form
later.) As far as I can tell from the pictures, the Racing Beat CAI kit
has an air intake "mouth" that is located and shaped in a manner similar
to the JR CAI. By contrast, the PP kit has a conical K&N air filter
mounted near the corner of the valve cover. (See
www.avatar.com/~kory/ppicai.htm). An optional flex hose (see the red
hose end) carries air from the car's mouth up to the top of the radiator.
