  Sounds like a fine MSV! Mine is li'l sis's '69 F250 4x4 flatbed (Lucy).
Lucy has power brakes and good metallic shoes in perfect condition, but stops
are still woefully drawn-out. I'm looking into having some kevlar shoes made,
or a friend has a pair of disc brake axles that might work. Keep me posted on
how yours works out, and I'll do the same.
Oh, check the ground at the taillight assemblies -- maybe just add an
external ground wire.
