Hello listers!
It is with much remorse that I announce here that Bruiser, my silver
'92A is up for sale.
Bruiser has a great many modifications to her strong little self, I list
as best my memory allows, this list should not be considered complete:
FM Springs
FM Sways
FM Shock tower brace
Hard Dog Hard Core (Roll) Bar
FM 1.8 liter aluminum flywheel
FM 1.8 liter Kevlar clutch
Tokico HP shocks
K&N airfilter. (timing at 14 deg, and NO cat)
Hella Eurostyle H-4 headlights.
Custom paint, with stripes, valued at ~$2000, viewable at:
http://www.geocities.com/motorcity/speedway/8967/
1.8 liter front brakes, drilled, with Porterfield pads at all four
wheels.
One year old Robbins vinyl top
seems I have run out of things, right now.
132K miles. At a recent event in Fuquay, NC, Steven Daniel considered
Bruiser to be much faster than the other (naturally aspirated) 1.6's
price negotiable, Though I have baselined my asking price by using
current market prices as available in the Miata.Net Marketplace.
voice mail # 910-307-5031
Home phone # 910-426-1817
Bruiser will also be advertised in the Marketplace, if this initial
notice does not result in a sale. Miata.Net advertising fees will be
paid, regardless of where this sale comes form.
Thank you all. This has been a great three and one half years. I will
cherish many memories from this list.
Keith, I am sorry I was never able to get back home to take pictures
with Baby, maybe the new owner will be from the North Country, too.
DanS, when I come back, I will be driving a new one, and maybe finally
an RX-7 (gen III), too. I will use your break-in methods.
Sonja, I speak four languages, but know none of the big english words
you do. You impress me as a lady of great class. Perhaps we shall
meet, around LS 3 or 4.
Aaron, your enthusiasm and drive for the sport, and the car encourages
me, that fun events like you sponsor will be around for a long time to
come.
Tony, your generosity and humor can only encourage more from your
guests. As long as there are TMR events, please keep me posted.
Steven, Garry, your quiet leadership efforts to start the Raleigh area
club excite me. If I can do anything to support Fayetteville area
events, please let me know.
Gary F., your hard work (and that of many Miata.net supporters, too)
make me proud, that a group of car nuts, can turn out a web site voted
best in America.
To all the vendors with whom I have had long running e-discussions, both
Miata, and NMC, thanks for being there, offering freely of your time,
and opinions.
Pete and Bruiser
