Have done it ONE time since...went out with some friends to hear one of our
favorite bands and stayed overnight at the hotel they were playing at.

Yep!  We've got a grill that swings into the fireplace...just let the wood
burn down and throw on the steaks.  Works great.  We don't use it very
often, because grease could build up in the chimney.  Had it cleaned this
year, so 'twas a great way to fix New Year's Eve dinner.
