Despite the crud on the streets, there are still many days when I wish I
still kept my Miata on the road in the winter.  A good small snowfall (a
couple of inches) are enough to turn the whole city into a rally stage.
It's no wonder most of the world rally drivers come from cold countries :)
A Miata with snow tires loves this sort of weather - it's an absolute blast
to toss around with great balance.  I swear my car could balance a
beautiful powerslide without any help from me.  Why wasn't driver's ed this
much fun?  The Civic just isn't the same.

Of course, I do manage to keep myself occupied with the Subaru Legacy GT,
equipped with a stiffer rear sway bar and Nokian Hakkapellittas.  Whee!
