| Subject: | HELP! Brake bleeding: What am I missing? |
| Date: | Sat, 2 Jan 1999 17:33:37 -0500 |
Put new rotors and pads on today. Wanted to bleed the brakes while I was
down there.
When I loosen the bleed nipple valve thingy, I don't get any brake fluid out
of the hole on the end. If I loosen too far, brake fluid starts seeping out
around the threads, but not out of the hole.
I thought maybe one was clogged, but I'm having the same problem on both
front calipers.
Am I missing something obvious? There were no caps on the bleed valves, so
I suppose it's possible they're both clogged...
Any help appreciated, including advice on how to install new valves if
that's what I need.
Please reply direct ( you can cc: the list), as I'm not currently

Thanks!
