Do you really want to do this? You will need to reload all your
drivers, e.g. video, sound card etc. Be sure you have all the
relevant diskettes or get them from your card makers before you
kill windows.
You can reinstall Windows if you think the problem is corrupted
Windows files. Do this by rebooting to DOS through Windows. For
improperly uninstalled programs, get Norton Utilities or some
equivalent and run Norton WinDoctor (or equivalent) to clean up
the mess.
In any event, I suggest you go to the www.gateway.com website
and download a resque disk before you start. You should have
gotten one at purchase that included the CD driver etc. Mike
