Point is to *not* break the balljoints!
See the tips on Dealer Alt. site, I used the hammer trick too and it
really works. Only thing I did different was to use two hammers, as
seen in Eunos mag. Held one ballpein against knuckle for additional
clearance/leverage and then smacked it with the second bp hammer.
I believe you *must* free the LCA as it's the only way you're going to
get the shock out of there.
Good DIY project, be careful if you will be doing spring compressor
work yourself...
