I'm still trying to determine why it seems impossible to fit the
original flex hose over the aluminum elbow of my JR CAI 1.6.  I'm hoping
that someone else who has this kit (NOT the 1.8 kit, which has a
different elbow), can measure the outside diameter of the elbow's intake
"mouth" (the end nearest the airbox).  (My aluminum elbow's intake mouth
is about 3 inches in diameter--the elbow on my kit is polished and maybe
it's different from the standard kit.)  Anyone??  Thanks!!
