I traded my M1 for a '99, there were no problems with the M1 and none at all
with the M2 except that it must be lower because it scrapes in driveways
that never bothered the M1. The new headlights are vastly superior to the
old (in illumination). I also don't have any problem with the top but as
with yours it's nearly always down, unless it's raining or just too hot.
