I downloaded it in Mac Netscape 4.08 (Save Link As from the contextual
menu), and ran it through TT Converter. But the resulting new Mac TT font
locked my G3, so I suspect something is indeed broken inside the
downloaded PC version.
That said, it installed just fine in Win95 under VirtualPC. To get
appropriate letterspacing in Word97, open the Fonts format dialog and
specify condensed at 1.8 the point size. E.g., it looks good at 48
points, condensed by 6 points. Can't do much about the word spacing in
Word, though; you'll need Quark or PM for that. I don't have a PC version
of Illustrator--will it use TT fonts?
BTW, the direct URL to the font page is
http://www.TeamMiata.com/libs/font.htm. This should help those whose
connections time out waiting for the upstream pages to load... :-)
