It's your Netscape Applications registry. To avoid needing to right click 
(or click and hold on Mac), you need to add a new entry to your 
Applications prefs for .ttf. If the font had been ZIPped, as it should 
be, there would have been no problem, since Netscape already knows what 
to do with ZIP archives.
