Hi Fellow Miatateers
I'm new to the list and I have learned a lot about the different
problems these babies can have.  I am owned by a RED (is there any other
color) '93 named Miti.  I have had the privilege of knowing her since
10-4-97.  My husband, who by the way owns that other sports car
(Corvette), is the one who helped me make my acquaintance with Miti.  He
had gone to check out a pinball machine at this garage sale.  Well as he
is playing the machine to be sure it worked, another person walked in
and saw it worked.  Asked the owner the cost and without blinking an eye
told Steve (husband) it was sold.  So Steve goes down to a car dealer
ship here in town and comes home with this CUTE little RED car.  The day
was perfect in every way.  Sunny and warm.  Perfect Miata weather.
Anyway, I drove Miti and fell in love but  really thought no way.  Well
the car goes back to the dealer and Steve calls me in an hour and says
Miti is mine.  The Corvette club was going on a road trip 90 miles to
the next town.  I live in Texas (explains distance).  They were KIND
enough to let me and Miti tag along.  Well I just want ya'll to know, if
those Corvettes would have gotten out of the  way  we would have blown
them off the road.  They did admit I kind of looked like a Vette coming
down the road at night.  I work in a high school and I am thought to be
pretty COOL!!! by the kids that connect me with Miti.  I wouldn't any
other car since owning a Miata.
