As I've stated before I tried to advance my timing using the yellow
timing mark and simply the car will not run when moved to "14" two
notches above "10". I believe this is because the white mark was down to
"4". When I reset everything to the white mark on "10" the car settled
down and performed good (no rough idle, smooth acceleration). Anyone out
there with a stock '96 that could take a look at their setting and
verify that the white mark is on "10" with the jumper in place? This
would mean that in fact you do use the white mark to set timing in '96
not the yellow one.......Help, please....
I would appreciate it ......going crazy in N.C. Also it would get my
wife of my back...."I told you not mess with stuff like that.......yak,
yak, yak....."
