Randy, sorry to hear your situation...I hope it all works out well for
you.

Just an observation here, but if you just got laid off, *why* invest
in over $4,000 in engine upgrades!?!?!?  Especially ones that are not
necessary?

This is crazy.  Maybe you have quite a bit of cash laying around, but
if this were me, I would be more worried about the upcoming bills, '99
taxes, new car tags, and what not - especially if I just lost my job.

To be totally honest, I think I have fallen into this trap many times
before....but my Miata can wait on a lot of these things.  Maybe it is
just me, I like not having any additional notes to pay.

Don't take this observation the wrong way, I was just curious as to
why you were going to invest in something like this at this time.

BTW, I have seen the "Screaming Cooper" up close and it really is
nice.  Here are my pics at Gap '98:
